UPDATE: The Amazon Boxing Day sale ends tonight (31st December) at midnight, so the below deals may end today. Since the beginning of the sale on Boxing Day, some of the discounts have been scaled back, so the same could happen with any or all of them. We do expect to see more deals in January, however they may not be as deeply discounted.
Best Boxing Day Sale Deals
Every year it seems the Boxing Day sales get bigger, and this year will be no different.
Here are the current top deals – of course we’ll update them as soon as we can if these end or more appear.
Top Coffee Machine Offers
Every year, there’s a few machines that sell really well. Below, we’re going to have a quick look at those, in case you aren’t really sure which to go for.
Delonghi Eletta ECAM 44.660.B (Black) and Eletta ECAM 45.760.W (White)
Ever since the start of the Black Friday sales, Delonghi’s Eletta machines have sold well. They’ve been on a huge discount for almost the entire run up to Christmas, and that continues into the Boxing Day sale, as they’re really good machines.
They will make a great black coffee, whether that’s a quick espresso hit or long black coffee to enjoy, as well as milky coffees too with the milk texturing system that comes with it. That means you’re also covered for lattes, flat whites and cappuccinos too.
It comes in Black (ECAM44.660.B) and White (ECAM45.760.W) and although there are subtle difference in the layont of the controls, they’re otherwise near enough identical. That’s worth pointing out because it means you can simply pick based on which will fit best in your kitchen. Generally, the Black model tends to be slightly cheaper, but you can check to be sure using the following blue buttons:

Delonghi Magnifica ESAM4200
While the Eletta were the ones that sold far more over the Christmas build up than earlier in the year, the Magnifica from Delonghi was the year-round favourite on this site and continued to do well to finish the year. The Delonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200 has been around for several years now, but continues to be incredible popular thanks to being very easy to use, relatively low maintenance, cheap compared to a lot of other bean to cup machines and, oh yeah, it makes really good black coffee.
It doesn’t have the automatic milk texturing that the Eletta offers, but if you like black coffee or just want to add a splash of milk, the Magnifica offers great results at a lower price. There’s also the manual frothing arm if you fancy the odd cappuccino, but if it’s a regular thing you’d be better opting for the Eletta instead.
Sage Barista Express
This machine from Sage makes a great gift, and looks really impressive too, which explains why sales surge in the run up to the festive season. It’s aimed more at the coffee expert than the Delonghis, Sage have carved out a section of the market for the purists who like to do things manually, whereas Delonghi machines tend to appeal to people who just want good coffee and aren’t too fussed about how the process works. That’s not to say one approach is right and the other is wrong, it does however show why Delonghi tend to to better – we’re busy enough in life, aren’t we?
This year, we’ve also featured the newer Barista Pro, which swaps some of the manual dials for digital displays, and while the price steps up a bit, for some people that will make a big difference. If you feel uncomfortable with an analogue over a digital watch, you might want to spend that little extra here too for the extra convenience.
There’s also an updated version available too, the Sage Barista Pro, which does away with the analogue dial and is replaced with a modern digital display in its place. Both come in a silver stainless steel finish and a black alternative, so here’s the links you need to see the discounts, and see them on Amazon:
